Background : Tubectomy is one of the services provided by dr. R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata hospitals Purbalingga. Tubectomy done with two methods of anesthesia, are local and general anesthesia. Anesthesia procedure is foreign to the patient could even threaten their lives, giving rise to various reactions of anxiety in patients.
Objective : This study was used to determine differences in anxiety level of anesthetic action that is performed on patients tubectomy.
Research Methods : Design in research using comparative, with cross-sectional approach. Population is taken from all patients undergoing tubectomy in dr R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga hospital, with - average 50 patients every month. Samples were selected using purposive sampling technique and measured with Krecjie table, where the number of samples at the significance level of 0.05% is 44 respondens. 22 respondents tubectomy with local anesthesia and 22 respondents with general anesthesia. Techniques of data collection using questionnaires HARS. Research implemented in the preparation of the operating room dr R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga hospital, from March to June 2014.
Result : The results showed the majority (68.2%) of respondents on tubectomy with local anesthesia is mild anxiety and majority (63.6%) of respondents on tubectomy with general anesthesia is mild anxiety. While the sig (p) of 0.905 from t hits (0198)> 0.05.
