Abstract
ABSTRACTPatients with hypertension usually do not have signs that indicate elevated blood pressure and are only detected at the time of physical examination. Factors that influence hypertension are increased blood pressure on increasing age, female sex, lower education level, not working, there is a family history of hypertension, obesity, smoking, consuming alcoholic beverages and stress levels.
This study aims to determine the description of risk factors for hypertension patients in the Work Area of UPTD Puskesmas Mrebet Purbalingga.
This research used descriptive research method with cross sectional approach. Respondents in this study hypertension patients in UPTD Puskesmas Mrebet Purbalingga were 67 responden. The sampling technique used accidental sampling with univariate analysis.
The results showed indicate that the incidence of hypertension in the working area of the UPTD Puskesmas Mrebet Purbalingga that the most dominant hypertension was with moderate hypertension (47.8%). The biggest age of patients is> 35 years (59.71%). The dominant family history lacked hypertension (26.9%). Obesity with the highest prevalence of hypertension was non-obese with moderate hypertension of 20 respondents (29.9%). The predominant smoking habit was non-smoking with hypertension currently accounting for 21 respondents (31.3%). Physical activity with hypertension most dominant was physical activity with moderate hypertension with 24 respondents (35.8%). The most dominant level of stress with hypertension is moderate stress with moderate hypertension as many as 17 respondents (25.4%)
