Factor Affecting the Selestion Of Mother In labor in TBAS the region Puskesmas karangjambu sub District Karangjambu Purbalingga Alif Sarofa1, Atun Raudotul Marifah2, Murniati3 Background : The government seems to have not been able to overcome the problem of deliveries are still assisted by traditional birth attendants in a short time. Based on the scope of delivery assistance in central Java, the scope of delivery by health personnel in 2008 by 87%, the rest is handled by TBAS Objective : To determine the factors that influences the selection of TBAs conduct deliveries at health centers in the District karangjambu Purbalingga periode January to June 2011 Methods : This study is the analytical survey method of research with cross sectional approach. Sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Large samples in this study is 79 people. Results : Wereas in the area of Health centers that choose karangjambu traditional midwives in the maternity most mother have a socioeconomic 0,05. Conclusion : socio-economic variables, education level, the level of knowledge, and culture influence the selection of labour terhadap TBAs karangjambu health centers in the region.
